Classic and Classy!

As the title states, this is a classic seed-beading technique - beading around and encasing something. In this necklace, I used a gorgeous Czechoslovakian dragonfly button in silver and gold. The beading is done in size 11 silver and gold seed beads. The neckchain uses the same beads but also includes Swarovski glass pearls in silver and gold.

Judy, That's simply, classically lovely! I need to teach myself how to set cabochons and things . . . I have the book, just looking for the time. :D

Thank you very much Carol! There are lots of techniques out there to bead around something. In fact, I just learned another one in a class over the weekend. It's a lot of fun! And I know what you mean about finding the time!
Thanks again,
Judy

Oh, I do wish you luck! It's not too hard. I have a whole bag of broken china I haven't touched for a while. Just not enough hours in the day! Can't wait to see yours!
